About Embolden
Embolden is an annual Festival (Congress, Symposium, Market, Fashion event) combating ageism and building respect for older people. It provides a unique opportunity for service providers, older people, community leaders, advocates, policy makers - and anyone who works with older people, to learn from each other and accelerate the pace of change.
Embolden recognises older people, and people living with dementia, as leaders, innovators and influencers. We want to promote cross cultural/disciplinary learning and respect, accelerate the pace of change and build evidence. The Festival takes a critical theory approach; critiquing the values, beliefs, attitudes and behaviours towards older people.
