The importance of volunteers 

Embolden is possible through the generosity and support of volunteers helps to make it happen. Volunteers Vicki and Rachel (above left) travelled close to 13,000 kms to help out with the event; and Suzi Arambasic (above right) volunteered for the Projections interactive art project at #Embolden2019. 

Volunteering before the festival 

Please make contact if you can help us with any of the following: 
  1. ​​Disseminating event information 
  2. Assisting in recruiting participants for the Fashion event
  3. Graphic design and printing
  4. Media liaison
  5. Identifying entertainment.

Volunteers at the Festival 

Please make contact if you feel you can help with any of the following activities during the Festival:
  1. Registration desk: checking delegates names off on arrival 
  2. Catering support: assistance at meal times to ensure people who have mobility issues can access food
  3. Roving evaluators: moving around delegates and documenting their feedback into a set template
  4. Chill zone: supporting delegates who need time out, food, drinks or other support
  5. Concierge: assisting delegates with mobility issues to get a Cab or Uber at the end of each day
  6. Timekeepers: communicating to presenters when they are close to time.
